Loveday – 90 years
Myrle Loveday of Golden Living Center, Waynesburg, will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family celebration at Greene County Country Club. Her grandson Cody Whipkey will provide entertainment.
She was born January 27, 1923, in Middlesboro, Ky.
She was married for 31 years to Charles Jackson Loveday, who is deceased.
Her children are Henry Giles of Brownsville, Jack Loveday of Glasgow, Ky., Randy Loveday of Waynesburg, Beth Whipkey of Waynesburg and the late Joyce Ann Sweitzer.
She has 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Loveday leads a daily devotions group at Golden Living Center and has Sunday worship at the center. She is a member of the Peer Group and is the past president of the resident council at the center. She is a member of First United Methodist Church in Waynesburg. Mrs. Loveday enjoys spending time with her family and is known as “Nana” to many.
