Italain Day at Kennywood

The Order Italian Sons and Daughters of America will hold its annual Italian Day at Kennywood Park Tuesday, with continuous entertainment at pavilion 5. The schedule is as follows:

• 2 p.m. – Father/son mandolin duo of Benny and Matthew Faiella

• 4 p.m. – Mirella “The Musician” Volpe

• 7 p.m. – Soul Searchers

The Italian pride parade begins at 6 p.m., and fireworks will start at 9:30.

An ethnic kitchen featuring Italian fare from various eateries will operate during the day. Discount tickets are available by calling the ISDA office at 412-261-3550.

Italian Day at Kennywood is the culmination of the ISDA’s three-day TRIAD celebration, which begins at noon Sunday with Mass at Epiphany Church in Pittsburgh, followed by lunch at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center. Reservations are being accepted at the ISDA office.

Community Day will be celebrated on Monday when ISDA members serve food and entertain the residents of Golden Living Center in Murrysville.
