Schafer – 90 years
Leanna Schafer of Eighty Four celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise party hosted by her family at the home of her son Tom.
She was born July 17, 1923, in Eighty Four.
On May 29, 1946, she married Arthur Schafer, who is deceased.
She has five children, Phil (Sarah), Lee (Laura), Cheryle (Tom) Walton, Tom (Temmy) and Terri Schmidt.
Her grandchildren are Tammie, Shelley, Phil Jr., Bob, Bill, Gary, Heidi, Holly, Rob, Kris, Kylie and the late Andrew. She also has several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schafer is a homemaker who enjoys cooking, canning and quilting. She was a Tupperware dealer and is a grange member.
