Cal U. to hold youth golf clinic

California University of Pennsylvania will hold a free youth golf clinic at 6 p.m. July 30 at Southpointe Golf Club’s practice facility as part of the Mylan Classic schedule.

Professional golfers will explain basic golf skills and introduce youngsters to the game. Clubs and other equipment will be provided. Advance registration is not required, and families are welcome to bring their cameras.

The Mylan Classic will be held from July 29 to Aug. 4. The complete schedule of events is available online at www.mylanclassic.com.
