Montgomery – Pettit
Lana Montgomery of Amity announces the engagement of her son, Derek Duane Montgomery, to Elaina Ann Pettit, daughter of Gregory and Cindy Pettit of Avella.
Derek is the son of the late Roger Montgomery. His grandparents are Gladys Ashby of Amity, the late Duane Ashby and the late James and Frances Hughes.
Her grandparents are Connie Waychoff of Washington, the late George Pettit, Shirley Wise of Washington and the late Donald Wise.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Trinity High School and is a mechanic.
Elaina is a 2000 graduate of McGuffey High School; a 2004 graduate of West Liberty University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business; and a 2011 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a master of business administration degree. She is a senior pricing analyst.
A Sept. 15 wedding is planned.
