Cortese – Veltri
Salvatore and Janis Veltri of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha, to Donald Cortese, son of Donald and Denise Cortese of Houston.
The future bride’s grandparents are Julietta Veltri of Washington, the late Pietro Veltri, Louise Martin of Washington and the late John Martin.
Grandparents of the future groom are Fran Whitfield of Houston the late Amos Whitfield and the late Guy and Rose Cortis.
Samantha is a 2003 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2007 graduate of University of Pittsburgh.
She is owner of Bella Vetro by Samantha and marketing consultant at Veltri Cleaners, both in Washington.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He is a mechanical engineer at Caterpillar Inc. in Houston.
The couple plan a fall 2014 wedding.
