Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program is offering a free motorcycle safety class for Pennsylvania residents. Class schedules are available at www.pamsp.com. Students who successfully complete the knowledge and skills test through PAMSP will receive a motorcycle license from PennDOT.

Community chicken-and-biscuit dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington. Meal includes mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw or fruit, homemade dessert and beverage. Donations are accepted. Proceeds are used for local community outreach programs. Southwestern Local Task Force will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday,at ARC Washington. Mary Jo Podgurski will present “Sexuality & Developmental Disabilities.” Reservation deadline is Wednesday; call 724-938-3241 ext. 265. Parents of children with disabilities are encouraged to attend as well as personnel from agencies and school districts in Washington, Greene and Fayette counties. Ladies of the Elks will hold its chicken-and-biscuit dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 10 at the Elks. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 and younger. Tickets are available at the bar or by calling Dolores at 724-228-5372.
