Freeman – Guidos

Gatlinburg Presbyterian Church in Tennessee was the site for the wedding of Anne Guidos and Charles (Hank) Freeman, who were united in marriage November 17, 2012, with the Rev. Ronald Lukat officiating the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Marie and Albert Maruskin of Venice, Fla., and the late Paul Guidos. Her grandparents are the late Katherine and Sylvester Kanzius and the late Michael Guidos.
The bridegroom’s parents are Dr. Wayne Freeman of Maryville, Tenn., and the late Eleanor Freeman. His grandparents are the late Charles and Stella Freeman and the late Merle and John Glass Sr.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Matthew Opachick.
Maid of honor was Kay Fitzgerald of Knoxville, Tenn., and best man was Rick Noseworthy of Sevierville, Tenn.
Music was provided by the bride’s son, Matthew Opachick, a violinist, and Gatlinburg Presbyterian Church pianist Mike Benjamin.
An afternoon tea reception was held at Buckhorn Inn, Gatlinburg.
The new Mrs. Freeman attended Trinity High School and graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a master’s degree in planning. She is a doctoral student in public administration/public policy at the University of Tennessee and works at the university’s Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy as a project manager for a Department of Energy grant on rooftop solar.
Mr. Freeman attended the American International School, New Delhi, India, and graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in conservation. He owns Freeman Land Surveying in Gatlinburg.
