Election Day events
The following events are scheduled for Tuesday, Election Day:
Buffalo Grange 1523 will serve a roast beef family-style dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 10 years old. Reservations are required; call Winnie Knox at 724-222-0617 or Ruth Walker at 724-222-2783.
Hopewell Township residents will hold a food drive for the Avella Food Bank, sponsored by Upper Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Food donations can be dropped off at the Hopewell Township building during voting hours. Bring a nonperishable food item or paper product.
Marianna Methodist Church will hold a flea market, lunch and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
