Amanda Victoria Beecham graduated with honors from California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in sociology. She also was named to the dean’s list. Beecham is a 2009 graduate of Trinity High School, and her parents are Martha Ann (Marti) Frazee of Canonsburg and Jack E. Beecham Jr. of Washington.

Dr. Jessica Ghilani has completed her doctorate in communications at the University of Pittsburgh. Ghilani received national and regional fellowship grants to support her research and writing from the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History, the American Association of University Women, Duke University and the University of Pittsburgh. She is an assistant professor of communication on the tenure track at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, where she teaches classes in speech communication, the history of advertising and consumer culture, research methods and media studies. She has published articles in the Journal of Communication Inquiry, Signs: A Journal of Women in Culture and Society and the Minerva Journal of Women and War. Ghilani is a graduate of Ringgold High School, and her parents are Ray and Jean Ghilani of New Eagle. She resides in Pittsburgh with her husband, Chris Belasco, and their daughter, Emilia.
