Hamming – Garda
Jan and Cindy Garda of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Brenna, to Nicholas Hamming, son of Peter and Linda Hamming of Martinsburg.
Brenna’s grandparents are the late Walter and Violet Garda and the late Rev. Neal and Mimi Rogers.
Her fiance’s grandparents are Ike and Janet Hamming and William and Glynis Sytsema, all of Sussex, N.J.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2011 graduate of Geneva College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature and language. She is completing her master’s degree in social work and gerontology at the University of Pittsburgh.
Nick is a 2008 graduate of Central High School in Martinsburg and a 2012 graduate of Geneva College, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is employed as an accountant with New Enterprise Stone and Lime.
The couple plan a July 19, 2014, wedding.
