Fashion Outerwear and Handbag event, sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary, will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday in the community room. There also will be a large selection of designer fragrances.

Buffalo Grange 1523 will hold a birthday and anniversary dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the grange hall.

Martha Washington Quilt Guild will hold its monthly business meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Covenant, third floor, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. Melanie Scott will present a demonstration on a quilted Christmas angel. Guests are welcome.

AFSCME Retired Chapter 13, subchapter 8402, will hold its Christmas party at 1 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Canonsburg. Reservation deadline is Dec. 3. Cost is $15.
