Knizner – Sevcik
Erin Sevcik and Christopher Knizner were united in marriage at 2 p.m. August 3, 2013, in Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Father Ed Yuhas officiating.
The bride’s parents are David and Michele Sevcik of Bentleyville. Her grandparents are Mary Anne Gurdish of Bentleyville, the late Michael Gurdish and the late John and Mary Sevcik.
The bridegroom’s parents are Frank and Vickie Knizner of Fredericktown. His grandparents are Charles Marodi of Clarksville, the late Viola Marodi and the late John and Mary Knizner.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Deidra Stepko of South Park.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Sharpnack of Washington, sister of the groom; Kelly Andredas of Scenery Hill, Monica Monfredi of Dublin, Ohio, Leigha Selvoski of Washington, Charisse Silvestros of Canonsburg and Devon Hornung of Buffalo, N.Y.
Best man was Jason Knizner of Fredericktown, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Erik Sevcik of Bentleyville, brother of the bride; Brook Sharpnack of Washington, brother-in-law of the groom; Michael Taylor of Osterburg, Nathan Parish of Berlin, George Silvestros of Canonsburg, and Jeffrey Selvoski of Washington.
Readers were Meghan Burgdolt, Madison Burgdolt and Amanda Burgdolt.
A reception was held at Glessner ballroom at Oglebay Resort, Wheeling, W.Va.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Bentworth High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in cell/molecular biology. She is a fourth-year dental student at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she is studying for her doctorate of dental surgery.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and a 2007 graduate of Waynesburg University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in computer forensics. He works as a forensic computer specialist for the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Aruba.
