Alzheimer’s Care training offered
Home Instead Senior Care will offer Alzheimer’s Care training from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24 and Oct. 22 at Home Instead Senior Care Center for Training and Education, 2000 Oxford Drive, Suite 415, Bethel Park.
The workshop is free and is being held in recognition of World Alzheimer’s Month.
Developed by Home Instead Senior Care, the Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias Care programs incorporate a hands-on approach to help families deal with the difficult behavioral changes that often are associated with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
Caregivers will learn how to manage behaviors, encourage engagement and care for themselves while caring for their loved one.
