Go green with costume swap
Green will be the new orange this year at Peters Township Public Library’s GO Green Club’s “Great Halloween Costume Swap.”
Instead of purchasing new costumes, the group is encouraging the community to swap their slightly used costumes to save resources, packaging, transportation costs and money.
Participants can drop off used costumes for children or adults that are in good condition from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at the library. Those who donate a costume will get a token for the swap, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5.
Volunteers are needed both days to help with the swap. Email ptplgogreenclub@gmail.com to volunteer or for more information.
