Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.

Trinity Wrestling Club will hold its board of elections meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity High School cafeteria.

Flight of the Timberdoodle program will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Cross Creek County Park, Route 40, Shelter 1. Dress for moderate hiking and weather. Handbag blowout sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the community room at Washington Hospital. Proceeds benefit Washington Hospital Auxiliary.

Presbyterian SeniorCare, South Main Street, Washington, will host an AARP Smart Driver program for senior citizens from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 14 in the center’s chapel. Each participant will receive a certificate. Some insurance companies offer discounts for course completion. Cost is $20 for non-AARP members and $15 for AARP members. Greater Wheeling Area Chapter 208 will meet at 7 p.m. April 14 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Father Mulhearn room. Social time with light refreshments begins at 6:30 p.m. Speakers will be Glen Trudo and Dawn Noble. Trudo will speak about fire safety, and Nobble will discuss spiritual heart disease. National Healthcare Decision Day will be recognized April 16. Renee Hurley, director of patient relations at Monongahela Valley Hospital, will be available to provide free information, tools and assistance on completing advance directives from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital lobby.

Charleroi Area Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. April 21 in the SPHS Center at Charleroi Plaza. Guest speaker will be Dr. Stephen Glenisky, retired professor of Slippery Rock University. The presentation will highlight the paintings of Robert Griffing, a Western Pennsylvania artist whose paintings and books tell the story of the life, environment and mentality of Native Americans as they encountered forces from Europe in the 18th century.
