Scouts earn badge at Bradford House

Six Boy Scouts from Troops 1365 of Hickory and 1025 of East Washington recently completed their American Heritage badge requirements during a daylong workshop at the Bradford House.

Guest speakers were Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Eugene Bryant and Vietnam veteran John Tecklenburg.

Other activities included meeting those who portrayed George Washington and John Holcroft, taking a walking tour of historic landmarks and raising a liberty pole.
