Driving program for seniors available
Seniors for Safe Driving presents highway safety education programs for seniors 55 years and older.
Programs are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Successful completion of the program makes senior drivers eligible for a 5 percent discount on their automobile insurance premiums for three years.
Those who have never participated in a Seniors for Safe Driving program must attend a two-day class. Those who have completed the two-day program qualify for a one-day program. To register for a class, call 724-283-0245 or visit www.seniorsforsafedriving.com.
