Mr. and Mrs. John Maurer of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn, to Capt. Lucien S. Miranne III, son of Dr. and Mrs. Lucien S. Miranne Jr. of Metairie, La.
The future bride’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Simonini of Washington and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Maurer.
Grandparents of the future groom are Lyndy Browning Messersmith, the late Charles W. Browning and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lucien S. Miranne Sr.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2011 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse clinical care manager of PSA Healthcare in Savannah, Ga.
The future groom is 2004 graduate of Jesuit High School and a 2009 graduate of U.S. Military Academy. He is a U.S. Army Ranger and has been deployed three times to Iraq and Afghanistan.
A Nov. 22 wedding is planned.
