Ed and Polly Silvers of Prosperity announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Kenny Bennington, son of Fred and Judy Bennington of Bellaire, Ohio.

Amanda is a graduate of McGuffey High School and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bethany College. She is a preschool teacher at World of Wonders.

Kenny graduated from Bellaire High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio University. He is employed at Ohio Valley Coal Co.

The couple plan a May wedding.
