McCaslin – Kipling
Warren and Mary Kipling of Venetia announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah, to Henry McCaslin, son of John and Constance McCaslin of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The future bride’s grandparents are Amelia Ragone Kipling of Lynbrook, N.Y., and Mary Crayne Stay of Fredericktown.
Grandmother of the future groom is Eugenia Plattenburg of Kettering, Ohio.
Sarah is a 2005 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2009 graduate of Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio. She earned a master’s degree in teaching from Dominican University in 2011 and a master of public administration degree from Cornell University in 2014. She taught fourth grade for Teach for America in Chicago from 2009 to 2011.
The future groom is a 2009 graduate of Oberlin College and earned a master of public administration degree with a concentration in environmental policy at Cornell University in 2013. He is employed by the Institute for Sustainable Communities in Washington, D.C.
Wedding plans are being made for June 21 at Oberlin College.
