Metz – McDade
Kevin and Debbie McDade of North Strabane announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie, to Nick Metz, son of Jane and Gary Metz of Cecil.
Katie’s grandparents are Norma Danziger of Bridgeville, the late Richard Danziger and the late James and Evelyn McDade.
Nick’s grandparents are Margaret May of Bethel Park, the late Ralph May and the late Dominick and Adeline Metz.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in fashion design and merchandising and minored in communication studies and business administration. She also studied fashion styling at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Italy. She is the manager of the quality control and fit department at ModCloth.
Her fiance is a 2006 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He is an operations manager at Hertz Rental Car.
The couple plan a June 28 wedding.
