Claysville United Methodist Church will host its annual Strawberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other foods including cake, ice cream and fresh strawberries. A bake sale also will be held. Proceeds will be used for kitchen and social room renovations.
Rummage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at West Alexander Methodist Church, Main Street.
Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Amwell Township Community Building. The executive board will meet at 6:15 p.m. Rea Redd will present a program on Pennsylvania’s involvement in the Civil War.
AFSCME Retired Chapter 13, subchapter 8402, will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Frank Sarris Library, 35 Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg. All retired state and municipality employees are welcome.
