Washington County Pomona Grange will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Long Branch Grange.
Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., Washington, will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday, June 10. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.
Strawberry Festival will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 11 at Robinson Presbyterian Church, 521 Church Lane, Bulger. There will be homemade hot and cold sandwiches, desserts, a bake sale, Chinese auction and kids’ fair.
JFK Post 377 American Legion, California, will hold a flag retirement service at 7 p.m. June 14.
Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 175 will hold “Poppy Days” from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 14 in the food court at Washington Crown Center. Donations benefit the veterans welfare fund. For more information, call Ellie at 724-747-1934
Family hobo hike begins at 10 a.m. June 14 at Mingo Creek County Park, Shelter 10. Participants will make a bindle stick to carry on their shoulder. Participants may bring a bandana, bottled water and a snack if desired. Registration is required; call 724-222-6867. There is no fee.
