W&J students promote literacy at library

1 min read

The sisters of the Pennsylvania Zeta chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Washington & Jefferson College participated in the Fraternity Day of Service March 4 at Citizens Library in Washington.

They and the children, who are part of the library’s preschool program, celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with games and story time.

Every year, Pi Beta Phi sponsors a fraternity-wide event to achieve maximum impact on reading awareness and fundraising. Pi Beta Phi celebrates Fraternity Day of Service in an effort to advance literacy on or around March 2 in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
