Centerville Clinics and Caring Mission/TCM Home Health invite all to join the Better Breathers Support Group for adults with lung disease. The group will meet at 5 p.m. today at Centerville Clinic’s Community Room, 37 Highland Ave., Washington. Thom Roe, an advocate for Alpha 1 testing, will speak.
Monessen Veterans Council will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Monessen City Building, Conference Room C, 1 Wendell Ramey Lane. The Veterans Day parade will be discussed. Members of Monessen’s American Legion posts, Joe Walker-Mon Valley Chapter of the Air Force Association, Mid-Mon Valley Shipmates, Mon Valley Leathernecks and Veterans of Foreign Wars are asked to attend. Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology, Mon-Yough Chapter 3, will meet at 7 p.m. March 27, in Frich Hall, Room 203, at California University of Pennsylvania. Amanda Valko will speak about paleoethnobotony.
California Area Toastmasters Club will host an open house at 7 p.m. March 27 at Center in the Woods, 130 Woodland Court, Brownsville. The club is seeking members of the community to charter the club. Multiphasic Blood Analysis will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. March 29 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The 36-function screening costs $25. Participants are asked to provide the full name and complete address of the physician to whom their test results will be sent. Testing is by appointment only. Registration deadline is March 26.
