PSU club to hold charity dance social

The Penn State Club of Washington-Greene counties will hold its fourth “We, Too, Can Dance” charity social from 7 to 11 p.m. March 29 at Julian’s Banquet Hall in Washington.

The event includes a buffet dinner featuring homemade desserts, ballroom dance lessons and dancing and Chinese and silent auctions.

All proceeds will be donated to Penn State’s student-run THON, which supports pediatric cancer research and care.

Cost is $30 per person. All tickets must be purchased in advance.

Penn State’s THON is the world’s largest student-run charity. This year, more than $13.34 million was raised by the students. The Penn State Club of Washington-Greene counties has raised more than $10,000 for THON at its “‘We, Too, Can Dance” social.
