Martha Washington Quilt Guild will hold its monthly business meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Covenant, third floor, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. Sue James and Linda Seaman will present a demonstration on Little Dresses for Africa. Guests are welcome.

Barclay-Robinson-Phillips Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 567, McDonald, will hold a soup and sandwich luncheon with a bag sale for flea market items from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 29 at the American Legion, 221 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Proceeds will benefit the cancer fund.
All-you-can-eat buffet-style creamed chicken on a biscuit dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. March 29 at Concord Presbyterian Church, Route 18, Washington. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for 4- to 12-year-olds. Children 3 and younger eat free. Proceeds will benefit church missions.
Spaghetti dinner with homemade meatballs and sauce will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. March 29 at Fairhill Manor Christian Church, 351 Montgomery Ave., Washington. Cost is $8 per person and $3 for those 10 and younger. Takeout will be available; call 724-225-8610.
