Hardway – 90 years
Alice B. Hardway of Claysville will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house for family and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the social room at Claysville Apartments.
She was born April 2, 1924, in Claysville.
On February 17, 1946, she married Paul O. Hardway Sr., who is deceased.
Her children are Jewell (Nelson) Ealy of West Finley, Paul (Cheryl) Hardway Jr. of Claysville, Rebecca Columba of San Diego, Calif., Debra Thomas of Claysville and the late Richard Hardway.
Her grandchildren are Mark Ealy, Olivia Guy, Sarah Hardway, Jodi Rush, Lori Keller, Todd Hardway, Darlene Thomas, Carrianne Stockwell, Dana Sterle, Shannon Jones, Christie Dorsey, Bo Thomas, Heidi Speicher and the late Erik Renner. She has 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hardway is a homemaker and attends First Baptist Church of Claysville.
She enjoys bus tours, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family.
