As a result of a two-day event to raise awareness about breast cancer, officials from The Meadows Racetrack and Casino recently made a $2,040 donation to the American Cancer Society.

One day, guests were asked to swipe their Players Club cards in return for The Meadows donating $1 to the American Cancer Society. In addition, guests earned 250 same-day points and received a Sarris Candies pink ribbon chocolate and a chance to win up to $1,000 cash.

Another day, the first 1,000 guests earned 1,000 points by swiping their Players Club card at a kiosk and received a pink football throw.
