The California University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association will hold its Awards of Distinction luncheon at 11 a.m. June 7 in the south wing of the Convocation Center.

Winners are:

• Dr, Adelaide Guesman of Jefferson, Class of 1938, John R. Gregg Award for Loyalty and Service;

• Dr. Donald Thompson of California, C.B. Wilson Distinguished Faculty Award;

• Vanessa DeSalvo Getz of Carnegie, Class of ’93, W.S. Jackman Award of Distinction;

• Dennis Laskey of Dunlevy, Class of ’84 and ’06, Michael Duda Award for Athletic Achievement;

• Dr. Bruce Barnhart of Brownsville, Class of ’83 and ’89, Pavlak/Shutsy Special Service Award;

• Karen Smith of Bear, Del., Class of ’83, Professional Excellence Award;

• Bryan Burnstein of Las Vega, Class ’05, Young Alumni Award;

• Renette Oklewicz of Reston, Va., Class of ’69, Meritorious Award.
