McDonald Veterans Council is sponsoring Meet Your Veteran Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Library, 52 Fourth St., McDonald. The public is invited to come and visit with veterans from World War II to present day.
Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Amwell Township Community Building. The executive board will meet at 6:45 p.m. Jack Reynolds will present the program “How Gettysburg Shaped the Battle.”
National Pike Chapter of the DAR will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the Woodlands ClubHouse. Dr. Longo will discuss “From Classroom to the White House.” A snack will be served. For more information, contact Barbara LaMay at 724-228-2193.
Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the bag sale begins at noon.
Washington High School will host a Veterans Day Program at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Washington High School gymnasium. The program includes recognition of veterans, flag processional, patriotic songs performed by the high school band and procession and posting of the colors. Free breakfast for veterans and active-duty military personnel will be provided from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Veterans Day at the following McDonald’s locations: 1412 Main St., Burgettstown; 100 Bobby Vinton Blvd., Canonsburg; 3723 N. Washington Road, McMurray; and 235 Meadow Lands Blvd., Washington. Proper identification is required. Guests should bring a military identification card, DD-214 form, Veterans Organization card, or a photograph of themselves in uniform.
West End Neighborhood Watch Chapter 1 will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at West Washington United Methodist Church Hall.
West Virginia Arts & Crafts Christmas Spectacular will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 14- 15 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Ruby Community Center in Mylan Park, Morgantown, W.Va. There will be more than 170 arts, crafts and prepackaged food booths, holiday music and Santa Claus. Admission is $5.50 for adults and $1 for children 6 to 12 years old.
