BBF seeks donations to ship supplies
Brother’s Brother Foundation in Pittsburgh is accepting donations to help pay for the shipping costs of medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics in West Africa that are dealing with the Ebola outbreak.
BBF loaded one container Tuesday with face masks, protective gowns and protective gloves, as well as disinfectant and general medical supplies, to support medical facilities in Sierra Leone. The shipment included supplies donated by area hospitals and the University of Maryland Medical Center.
At least three more 40-foot containers with additional gowns, gloves, masks, soap and other requested supplies will be shipped by BBF Pittsburgh this month.
Credit card donations can be made by visiting www.brothersbrother.org, calling BBF at 412-321-3160 or at http://hopeforsierraleone.org. Checks should be made to the Brother’s Brother Foundation and sent to: Brother’s Brother Foundation/Ebola
