PSU students to collect for THON

Penn State students will take a break from studying Friday through Sunday to help fight childhood cancer by collecting donations through canister solicitations in Washington.

All money collected will benefit THON, the annual dance marathon held at Penn State for the Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Four Diamonds supports innovative research for a cure and provides emotional and financial support to families undergoing pediatric cancer treatment at the Hershey Medical Center.

Since 1977, THON has raised more than $114 million.
