Renk – Witsberger
Elise Witsberger of Eighty Four and Matthew Renk of Cecil were united in marriage May 10, 2014, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with the Rev. Patrick Barkey officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are John and Cathy Witsberger of Eighty Four. Her grandparents are the late Joseph and Eleanor Mazzie and the late Clarence and Mildred Witsberger.
Parents of the bridegroom are Leonard and Kim Renk of Aliquippa and Richard and Joan Long of Muse. His grandparents are Tom and Peg Renk of Pittsburgh and Terrence and Shirley McManus of Cecil. His great-grandmother is Dorothy Seman of Pittsburgh.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Christine Barney of Eighty Four. Bridesmaids were Anna Witsberger of Eighty Four, sister of the bride; Elena Lages of Bethel Park, cousin of the bride; Katie Long of Muse, sister of the groom; Emily Renk of Aliquippa, sister of the groom; and Mollie Renk of Aliquippa, sister of the groom.
Flower girls were Ella Belfiore and Nadia and Adele Grady, cousins of the bride.
Best man was Mark Motyl of Bridgeville. Ushers were Jonathan Witsberger of Eighty Four, brother of the bride; Nathan Sprowls of Washington; Sean O’Connor of Canonsburg, cousin of the groom; Erik Stunkard of Carnegie; and Ryan Sheridan of Cecil.
Ring bearer was Colton Stunkard.
Readers were Teresa O’Connor, Deborah Mazzie-Lages and Peggy Witsberger
Vocalist was Valerie Quayle, and instrumentalists were Kathy Sacco and Harry Sacco.
A reception was held at Nemacolin Country Club.
The bride is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She is a registered nurse at St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Renk is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. He works in nutrition services at St. Clair Hospital.
