Shoe Bash benefits child-care center
Eighth annual Shoe Bash to benefit The Village, a nonprofit early childhood education center, will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 at Nemacolin Country Club in Beallsville.
Famous-maker shoes and handbags, including Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Coach, will be given away every 15 minutes. Between drawings, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of items from the vendors’ bazaar. Food will be served, and auction items also will be available. Grand prize is a Christian Louboutin foldover shoulder bag that converts to a clutch valued at $1,300.
Tickets are $75 per person.
The Village provides child care for 6-week- through 5-year-olds, plus before and after-school care. Single parents who are enrolled in full-time educational programs to improve the lives of their families also may be eligible for child-care scholarships.
