Costume swap at Peters Twp. library

1 min read

Peters Township Public Library’s GO Green Club will host a “Great Halloween Costume Swap” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11 at the library.

Instead of purchasing new costumes each year, the group encourages the community to swap their slightly used costumes to save resources, packaging, transportation costs and money.

Those who are interested in participating can drop off used costumes for children, teens and adults from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 9 and 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 10. Costumes should be in great condition. Participants will receive a token for each costume donated for the swap. The token can be used during the Oct. 11 swap.

Costumes and accessories that remain will be donated to the Rainbow Kitchen in Homestead.

Volunteers are needed to help with the swap Oct. 10 and 11. To volunteer or for more information, email ptplgogreenclub@gmail.com.
