De Corral – Murphy
Kathleen Murphy and Daniel de Corral were united in marriage August 16, 2014, at Church of the Epiphany, with the Rev. John McKenna officiating the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Terrence and Barbara Murphy of McMurray.
Parents of the bridegroom are Andres and Margarita de Corral of Key Biscayne, Fla.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Caitlin Cox. Bridemaids were Cecelia de Corral, sister of the groom, Tyla Fowler, Lauren Demitry and Erica Palaia.
Andres E. de Corral, brother of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Connor Murphy and Brendan Murphy, brothers of the bride, Matthew Reardon nd Blake Gaines.
Ring bearers were Andres J. de Corral, nephew of the groom, and Gustavo Tortolani, godson of the groom.
Readers were Nancy Payton and Jeanne-Marie Murphy, aunts of the bride; Eduardo Alfonso, cousin of the groom; and Nicole Mier, godmother of the groom. Gift bearers were Brittney Terhune, Preston Church, Kendall O’Connor and Brendan Cox.
Mrs. de Corral is a 2006 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2010 summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University. She was a Fulbright scholar in the Berlin Capital Program, studying German media. She is the assistant managing editor at The Nation magazine, the oldest continuously published weekly magazine in the United States.
Mr. de Corral is a 2006 graduate of Gulliver Preparatory Academy, Miami, Fla., and a 2010 graduate of Fordham University. He is a New York-area sales representative for Bell’s Brewing Co., a Michigan-based craft brewing company.
A reception was held at the Pittsburgh Golf Club. The couple took a wedding trip to Antigua.
