Church to host hunger roundtable
Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh will hold a Hunger and Food Security Roundtable from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 8 at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 1000 Jefferson Ave., Washington.
Speakers will be Karen Dreyer, director of Food Security Partnership in Pittsburgh, and Sue Smith, development manager of the Partner Distribution Organization at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
The SNAP program will be discussed, and lunch will be provided.
