Butterfly Bandits fundraiser at PNC
The Butterfly Bandits are planning a fundraiser for thyroid cancer research and awareness May 10 at PNC Park.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are holding the event, which will include a meet and greet party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bettis’ Grille 36. Entertainment will be provided by Backroad Burners.
A baseball-themed buffet will be available to purchase. There will be a release of butterflies at 11 a.m. for those who had and have cancer.
The Pirates will play the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:35 p.m.

All money raised remains in Pittsburgh to benefit the UPCI Mutli-Disciplinary Thyroid Cancer Research Unit.
