Fairall United Methodist Church, 583 White Barn Road, Waynesburg, will hold its buckwheat cakes and sausage supper at 5 p.m. Saturday. The menu will include all-you-can-eat buckwheat cakes, regular pancakes, whole-hog sausage, applesauce and a beverage. Donations will be accepted. Takeout will be available. State Rep. Brandon Neuman, D-North Strabane, and Canonsburg Mayor David H. Rhome are sponsoring a free community shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon May 2 in the parking lot of Neuman’s constituent service office, 1825 Washington Road. Items that should be shredded include credit card statements, credit card applications, bank statements, canceled checks, income tax information, insurance records and retirement or pension fund information.
