Washington Arbors, 154 N. College St., Washington, will teach guests “How to Drop It Like It’s Hot” at 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday in the recreation room. Community Garden Day will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Washington County Children’s Garden, Main Street extension. Bring gloves, gardening tools and questions for the Master Gardeners. Children welcome to accompany parents. The event is free.
Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The executive board will meet at 6:45. Denise Cummins will give a presentation on the history, heritage and contents of the David Bradford House.
McGuffey Middle School orientation for the 2015-16 school year will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 12 at McGuffey Middle School/High School auditorium. Grade six students and new students to the district in grades seven and eight are invited to attend. Parents are encouraged to attend.
Annual Midway Community Yard Sale will be held Sept. 19. Registration is being accepted at the borough office through Sept. 10. Cost is $10.
