Buffalo Grange 1523 will meet at 7 p.m. today. The grange will hold a birthday and anniversary dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Martha Washington Quilt Guild will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Covenant, third floor, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. Sue James and Mary Anne Halulko will present a program on the “Stitch and Flip” quilting method. Guests are welcome.

Washington County Special Olympics will hold its seventh annual golf outing Sept. 19 at Chippewa Golf Club, 128 Chippewa Road, Bentleyville. It will be a scramble format. Entry includes golf and cart, a light breakfast, lunch, catered dinner, water, pop and beer. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., and the scramble begins at 8. Cost is $80 per golfer or $320 per foursome. Prizes will be awarded for various golf competitions, and there will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Consulate Healthcare will host the End of Summer Car Cruise from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 30 on its campus, 100 Tandem Village Road, North Strabane. Cars will be lined up in front of the skilled building. There is no fee. There also will be oldies entertainment, refreshments and a Chinese auction. Proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, Washington County. Ladies Night Out: An Evening of Beauty will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 1 at Arlecchino Ristorante, 133 Camp Lane, McMurray. There will be cocktails, canapés and cosmetics, as well as free facial and spider vein consultations from Dr. Laurie Molinda. Space is limited.
