Crown Center to hold back-to-school event

Washington Crown Center will host a Back-to-School Pep Rally from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Super Why and Presto from “SuperWhy” on PBS; the Super Readers; Elsa and Anna from Disney’s “Frozen”; the Washington Wild Thing; the PA Storm cheerleaders will be on hand, and there will be face-painting, a selfie photo booth, vendors and local organizations along with a “Sing Off” Battle of the Schools. There also will be free giveaways, prizes and shopping coupons.
