Wise – McCoy
Carly Renee McCoy and Christopher Lee Wise were united in marriage July 18, 2015, at St. Barnabas Church, Brackenridge, with the Rev. Frank Yesko officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Edward and Denise McCoy of Brackenridge. Her grandparents are Ed and Loretta McCoy of Natrona Heights and Bill and Pauline Milberger of Sarver.
Parents of the bridegroom are Darrell and Darlene Wise of Washington. His grandparents are Frances Wise and Takako Hansen of Washington and the late Russell Wise, Paul Hansen and Lloyd Ranegar.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Susan Strellec of Tarentum. Bridesmaids were Kelsie Allen of Brackenridge, Bekah George of Indiana and Belinda Wise of Washington.
Flower girl was Brianna Wise, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Rick Mckahan of Washington, cousin of the groom.
Groomsmen were Andrew McCoy of Brackenridge, brother of the bride, Jason DuCarme of Saxonburg and Travis Moore of Marianna.
Ring bearer was Austin Wise, cousin of the groom.
Readers were Ed McCoy, grandfather of the bride; Darrell Wise, father of the groom; and Dolores Logan, aunt and godmother of the bride.
A song was written and dedicated to the couple, and was sung by Darrell Wise.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Highlands High School and a 2013 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education with a certificate in elementary and special education. She is a preschool teacher in Pine-Richland.
Mr. Wise is a 2004 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2009 graduate of Community College of Allegheny County, where he earned an associate degree in radiological sciences and a certificate in radiologic technology. He also is a 2015 graduate of La Roche College with a bachelor’s degree in medical imaging and a minor in management. He is employed as a professional care specialist for Stryker Corp. in Pittsburgh.
A reception was held at Laube Hall in Freeport.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba and make their home in Gibsonia.
