Thomas Presbyterian Church, 1068 Linden Road, Eighty Four, will hold Food and Friends at 5 p.m. Thursday. The sit-down meal is free.
Free pictures with Santa Claus will be offered in exchange for canned food donations from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday during an open house at Middletown Tractor Sales, 910 Henderson Ave., Washington. While Santa will only be available Saturday, donations will be accepted all week, and Middletown Tractor will match all donations before delivering items to local food pantries. Canton Township Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a bus trip to Oglebay Park’s “Festival of Lights” Dec 19. The bus will leave Jessop Place at 2 p.m. and return about 9 p.m. The bus will stop at Perkins for dinner before visiting the park. Dinner is not included in the price. Fee is $10.
