Cunningham – Corfont
Alyssa Corfont and Dan Cunningham were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. August 9, 2014, at Pasquerilla Spiritual Center, State College.
The bride’s parents are Andrew and Linda (Lydia) Corfont of Waynesburg. Her grandparents are James and Christina Smith of Herminie, Audrey Corfont of Vestaburg and the late William Corfont.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jay and Joanne Cunningham of West Grove. His grandparents are Roger and Theresa Martin of Ilion, N.Y., and the late Herald and Martha Cunningham.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Rachael Corfont of Waynesburg, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alyssa Newman of Orefield, Kayt Pritts of West Mifflin and Kaitlin Kisela of New Orleans.
Flower girls were Lily and Kathryn Lexer of Malvern.
Best man was Bryan Cunningham of Bridgewater, N.J., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Casey Boyle of Philadelphia, Justin Thompson of Avondale, Joe Ward of Eagleville and Kevin Bellas of Tampa, Fla. Ushers were David, Brandon and AJ Svac of Naperville, Ill., cousins of the bride.
Ring bearer was Luke Lexer of Malvern.
Readers were Kathy Svac, aunt of the bride, and Jenn St. Pierre, sister-in-law of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Waynesburg Central High School and Penn State University. She is an on-air meteorologist for WNCN in Raleigh, N.C. She has appeared as a freelance meteorologist for WPXI in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Cunningham is a graduate of Avon Grove High School and Penn State University. He is an applications engineer.
A reception was held at Toftrees Golf Resort, State College.
The couple honeymooned at Sandals Resorts in Antigua and Saint Lucia.
