Scarborough–Foxton
Kenneth and Julie Foxton of Columbia, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha, to Alex Scarborough, son of Jack and Elizabeth Scarborough of Washington.
Samantha’s grandparents are Carl and Jane Benedict of Hartwell, Ga., Marjorie Foxton of Silver Creek, N.Y., and the late Mel Foxton.
Her fiance’s grandparents are the late Jacqueline and George Gift and the late Jacqueline and David Scarborough.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and is a Navy lieutenant.
The future groom is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.
The couple plan a January 2016 wedding.
