Jefferson Township Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the White Church Building, 11 Fire Road, Eldersville. “Rediscovering Holiday’s Cove,” a video made by the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural Center, will be shown. It tells the story of the founding of Holiday’s Cove, which was the forerunner of Weirton. Refreshments will be served.
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette at 7:30 p.m. March 31; and “Dispute: Bridgeport, W.Va.,” presented by John Oyler at 7:30 p.m. April 28. All programs are held in the Chartiers Room at Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department.
Martha Washington Quilters Guild will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Covenant, third floor, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. Mary Anne Halulko will demonstrate fabric yo-yo making and its uses.
LeMoyne Community Center, 200 Forrest Ave., Washington, will present a community open house black history program Tuesday. There will be an art gallery and vendors from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and the program begins at 6. Refreshments will be provided. Snow date is Feb. 26.
