Johnson – Jardine
Announcement is made of the engagement of Emily Jardine and James Johnson, both of Washington.
Emily’s parents are Karen Jardine of Washington and the late James Jardine. James’ parents are Barry and Sharon Johnson of Washington.
Her grandparents are Loriene and Fitzhugh Chumbley of Madison Heights, Va., and the late Matthew and Elizabeth Jardine. Her fiance’s grandparents are Howard and Jeanne Roehm of McMurray and Carolyn Johnson of Washington and the late James Johnson.
The future bride is a 2005 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry. She is attending graduate school to become a physician assistant at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va.
The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2008 graduate of Waynesburg University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and secondary education. He is a sixth-grade math teacher at Trinity Middle School and the eighth-grade football coach.
The couple are planning a Aug. 22 wedding.
